Tick Fever Panel (Ehrlichia, Babesia, Anaplasma)

About this test

Tick fever is one of the most common serious illnesses in dogs in India. This panel looks for the three infections ticks carry, which cause fever, weakness, loss of appetite and a falling platelet count. Test early if your dog has had ticks and seems unwell.

• Ehrlichia canis
• Babesia (B. gibsoni, B. canis)
• Anaplasma

Good to know

• A blood smear (Blood Parasites test) is a quicker, cheaper first look; this panel also finds infections a smear misses.
