For dogs from 6 to 10 years depending on their size (bigger dogs age sooner), and cats from 10: organ function with the early kidney marker SDMA, thyroid, blood fats and vitamins, and a urine check. Kidney, thyroid and heart problems become common with age, and are far easier to manage when caught early.
